Suzuki Moped

Suzuki was founded shortly after the turn of the century in Japan as a loom company. As with so many companies in Japan, things began to change for them after the events of World War II. Now, of course, they don’t make looms at all, but they do make automobiles, motorcycles, scooters, all-terrain vehicles, boats, wheelchairs, and internal combustible engines. They primarily are known for their automobiles, all-terrain vehicles, and motorcycles, but they do have several motor scooters on the market, and they have released smaller, 50cc mopeds over the years. There are not any current 50cc models, but there are some from 2002, 2006 and even in the 1970s. The size of the engine is an important distinction to make, because mopeds are defined and classified as motorized bicycles that have 50cc or smaller engines and have top speeds of thirty miles per hour.

The Suzuki moped includes the 2002 Suzuki TR 50, the 2006 Suzuki Boulevard M 50, the 2003 Suzuki JR 50, and the 2006 Suzuki Katana R50. In 2007, Suzuki also announced a new moped, the Let’s 5 50cc Scooter, in 2007.  You can find a used Suzuki model easily enough, because Suzuki vehicles tend to have a decent resale value, and that includes their mopeds and scooters. Suzuki also offers affordable models. Their top of the line, most powerful scooters sell for eight thousand, and their smaller vehicles are even more affordable than that, which makes them a good option for anybody who is trying to keep their transportation costs low.
