Most Efficient Moped

How you grade the most efficient moped depends greatly on what, exactly, youre looking for in a moped. For example, most mopeds are all pretty much top out at the same speed of thirty miles per hour, though it is possible for some to go up to forty-five miles per hour. Or at least thats what the websites claim, but the reality is that most motor scooters have pretty similar engines, with the same number of HP, the same size, and the same top speeds. If you have a moped much over 50cc, you are getting into motor scooter realms, which might be far more efficient than the smaller 50cc engines, but are not technically mopeds, but rather technically and legally motor scooters.

You could grade the most efficient models on different criteria, like miles per gallon. But once again, because they all have similar engines, theyre going to have similar mileage. Though the size of the tank can change, and not all have to be as small as a single gallon. If you are looking for the most efficient model in terms of how many miles you can go before you must gas up again, you might want to look at the size of the tank. You might also want to look at how heavy the frame is because a lighter moped is going to get better gas mileage. Finally, you could measure the most efficient model in terms of how much the moped can transport, besides your own person. If you are going to school and you need to lug your laptop, books, food, and whatever other items are necessary, you probably dont want to buy a moped that lacks a storage space in the body.
