Moped Repair
Regardless of how well your particular moped was put together or how well you have managed to take care of it over the years, you are eventually going to need some help maintaining it and keeping it in top working order. Fortunately, there are plenty of options that make moped repair a relatively easy endeavor. Your two main options are to do it yourself or to take it in and have it repaired by a professional. And these options are both completely economical and almost equally feasible since you can so easily find a variety of repair parts online almost as easily as you can find a local repair shop for your moped.
However, we would first like to point out that among the most common problems for mopeds is fuel flow. Fortunately you can test for spark and fuel flow on your own, which will help you determine if your best option will be to take it in for professional servicing or if you can find the right parts to get your spark and fuel going again on your own.
You should start by removing the spark plug, spraying carburetor cleaner directly into the cylinder head as temporary fuel. You will then need to install a new spark plug and then replace the spark plug cap. You then follow this up by executing the starting sequence and seeing if that did the trick. Its good to check for these simple solutions first to help yourself avoid paying for expensive parts and unnecessary repairs.
