Five Fun Moped Accessories

There are many accessories one can get for your moped. A lot of accessories have to do with your safety, but nothing is more fun than having a safe ride on your moped. Other accessories are there to serve the moped customer either in protection of the moped or their assets if they are a working moped commuter.

Protective Equipment: Helmets can come in an assortment of colors and sizes. Available are the typical racing style of helmet, others look more vintage like World War Two style helmets. Some states require some sort of visor as protection when wearing a helmet. In addition to helmets, one can also purchase gloves to protect your hands from friction from the air. Mirrors are usually required by law to have on your moped. Horns are less required, but in some states they are indeed a requirement and an important part of your safety equipment. Visors are available for your moped which can add some protection and possibly a bit of flare if you like decals.

Moped Cover: You never know when youre going to need to store your moped for an extended period of time. A moped cover will keep your moped protected against the elements. You can purchase a moped cover with new hot designs or design your own if you are a creative person.

Tool Kit: This ensures that if you have a problem with your moped youll be able to work on it yourself and not have to wait for a kindly passerby to provide your necessary tool. Tools you will want to include would be a tire pressure gauge, tire irons, engine lubricant, fuel stabilizer, and wrenches.

Transport Equipment: If you are a moped commuter, youll need saddle bags to carry your important work materials. These make transportation easy and less stressful as they take pressure off of your back (if you were wearing a backpack before). Also, baskets may help you transport your stuff. Racks on the back of your moped can easily help to cart your things around with you, whether youre taking a road trip across the country or just a grocery run down the road. Much of your transporting equipment can be snapped on and off with ease, so there is no frustration if you are late for a meeting.

License Plate Holder: If your state requires you to have a license for your moped, this could be the most important accessory on your moped.
